These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of this Website (www.sofawholesale.co.uk) and by accessing this Website and/or placing an order through a telephone sales advisor, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.
We strongly recommend that you fully read our Terms and Conditions before placing your order, If you require any further information or clarification of the information herein please do not hesitate to contact us through any of the methods listed in the contact us page of this website.

The Products on our site are available for purchase and delivery only within the United Kingdom and Ireland. As far as reasonably possible all products featured to buy on the website are either in stock and available at the time of ordering, or anticipated lead times are highlighted on the site.
Your statusTo be eligible to purchase Products on this website you must:
- (a) be capable of entering into binding contracts; and
- (b) be at least 18 years old.
- (c) provide your real name and contact details (including e-mail); and
- (d) a valid delivery address in the United Kingdom or Ireland.
The price of the Products will be the amount set out in the Order. Prices are liable to change at any time, but subsequent price changes will not affect the price for the Products stated in your Order at the time of placing your Order.
Payment can be made by credit or debit card, cheque, bank transfer (details available upon request) or PayPal.
If you have chosen to pay by card, once your order is received we will process the payment for your order by way of the credit or debit card details you have provided. In the event that there is insufficient stock to satisfy your order you will be informed as soon as possible. A refund will be processed through your chosen credit or debit card used for the payment of the order.
Our site contains a large number of Products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the Products listed on our site may be incorrectly priced. We are under no obligation to provide the Product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a Dispatch Confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a mis-pricing.
All deliveries will be made to the delivery address provided by you as set out in the Order. In the event that you require the Products to be delivered to an alternative delivery address to that stated in the Order you must contact us either in writing or by telephone to notify us of the new delivery address. You may also be required to provide us with further personal identification (in such form as shall be requested by us).
For our two-man option, deliveries will be carried out within an estimated 7-14 working day time frame.
In order to make delivery as efficient as possible for our customers, the day of delivery will be chosen by Sofa Wholesale.
Prior to delivery please ensure that the items you have ordered will fit through any passages, stairwells, landings and doorways. Dimensions of products are displayed on each product page. If you require dimensions that are not listed, please contact us and we will be happy to confirm these. On the day of delivery, please ensure that the delivery team can gain easy access to the room that the furniture is going into making sure that the area you want the furniture placed is cleared. Neither our delivery team nor Sofa Wholesale will be held responsible for any damage to either the customers property or belongings.
All deliveries are signed for by the customer.
If you are unable, for whatever reason, to take delivery of your Products on the agreed delivery date, at least 24 hours notice prior to the agreed delivery date must be given or a re-delivery fee will be incurred.
The details and designs of our Products are constantly changing and we reserve the right to change the specification of our products without prior notice in relation to future sales. You should check our website for details.
Products supplied to you may differ as a consequence from those on display or advertised. Unless agreed with you, the products supplied will be of equivalent value, functionality and appearance. Any significant variations will be notified to you. Blemishes and small marks in the materials used may sometimes be visible and are not treated as damage but as natural imperfections in the manufacturing process.
The measurements of all products provided are as accurate as possible, but some slight variances may apply.
Some self-assembly may be required on certain products.
Please note that it is the customers responsibility to look after the product in an appropriate was as to not void any warranty. This means that only cleaning products recommended by us should be used on the product. The product should not be situated in an area of house or property where the product will overheat such as next to a radiator or in direct sunlight. The product should be used in a reasonable way as to not cause the frame to come under excess stress such as using the parts of the product not designed to hold weight such as the back rail or armrests.
- 11.1 If you have a complaint or a particular remark to make please do not hesitate to contact us immediately by telephone or e-mail, the details of which are contained under the “Contact Us” page.
- 11.2 Any complaint will be dealt with fairly, effectively and confidentially. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
Cancellations and returns
Orders are not subject to cancellation without charge under any circumstances.
We are committed to finding an alternative to cancellation including re-selection to other furniture, a change of payment method or change of combination and will help with a solution where possible.
Where we cannot reach a final, alternative solution and cancellation remains as the only option, a cancellation charge of up to 20% of the order value plus any delivery and re delivery costs will be forfeit or due. All deposits left will be retained. Any amount paid will be given to you as a credit note and can be used as part or full payment for furniture for up to 6 months after cancellation.
Where goods are cancelled under distance selling regulations, the cancellation charge will not be applied. Please refer to the “Website, Telephone & Distance Orders” section for further information around processes and costs associated. Made to order or customised items cannot be returned.
You have the right to cancel your order before delivery or up to 14 days after delivery has taken place.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us Rose Bay Furniture LTD, T/A Sofa Wholesale, Unit 1 Lovell, Lichfield Road Industrial Estate, Tamworth, Staffordshire, B79 7TA, or by email at email@example.com of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail).
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your wish to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
- Returning a product.
It is your responsibility to return the items to any location from which we do business in a good condition. However we recognise that many customers do not have the means to do this, and so will arrange collection during normal business hours if requested. In such circumstances a charge of up to 20% of the price of the furniture will be made to cover the cost of collecting the items. This charge will be calculated according to the number of items to be returned, availability of a delivery vehicle, your location and complexity of removal. Made to order or customised items cannot be returned.
Please note, returns terms and conditions apply to orders made via the website or by telephone where the items have not been viewed in store. Orders placed in store are non-returnable.
- Taking care of the product before it is returned.
It is the customer’s responsibility to take good care of the product. You are the owner of the furniture once it has been delivered and you are liable for any loss or damage. To minimise the risk of any such claim we ask that you return the goods in appropriate packaging such as to prevent damage in transit.
Until returned, the product must remain unused and in an ‘as new’ condition. Failure to take reasonable care may result in a claim against you.
Once the items have been returned to us we will reimburse to you all payments received from you including any deposits or costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We will make your reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than (a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any products supplied, or (b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the products, or (c) if there were no products supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.
Where we are not collecting products, you shall send back the products or hand them over to us, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the products before the period of 14 days has expired.
Sofa Wholesale collects the details provided by you on registration together with information we learn about you from your use of our service and your visits to our web site and other sites accessible from them. We also collect information about the transactions you undertake including details of payment cards used.
We may collect additional information in connection with your participation in any promotions or competitions offered by us and information you provide when giving us feedback or completing profile forms. We also monitor customer traffic patterns and site use, which enables us to improve the service we provide.
Use of your information and your preferences
We will use your information to provide and personalise our service and to detect and prevent fraud. We will also use your contact details to communicate with you. We may use your information to send you offers and news about Sofa Wholesale group products and services or those of other carefully selected companies which we think may be of interest to you. We may contact you by post, email, telephone or fax for these purposes.
We like to hear your views to help us improve our service. From time to time, we may contact you by post, email, telephone or fax to ask your opinions. Again, if you do not want to be contacted for this purpose, please inform us at the point of sale.
We may use your information to verify your identity and prevent or detect fraud. In performing these checks your information may be disclosed to credit reference agencies, who may keep a record of that information. This is not a credit check and your credit rating will be unaffected.
Please note that there may be instances where it may be necessary for us to communicate with you, in any event, for administrative or operational reasons relating to our service.
Disclosures of your information
Your information may be passed to and used by all Sofa Wholesale companies. We will never pass your personal information to anyone else, except where we are required or permitted to do so by law, for any successors in title to our business and suppliers that process information on our behalf both in the UK and abroad. We may also use and disclose information in aggregate (so that no individual customers are identified) for marketing and strategic development purposes.
Other web sites
Non-registered visitors of the site are sent anonymous cookies to keep track of their browsing patterns and build up a demographic profile. In addition, any visitor who has clicked on a Sofa Wholesale advertisement on another site that links to simply stylish sofas will be sent anonymous cookies that will allow us to analyse advertising effectiveness and manage our relationship with affiliate sites.
